Why I’m building Pepagora
One expression of a larger thesis.
SMEs do not lack ambition. They lack the surrounding infrastructure that makes capability, trust and opportunity accessible.
From repeated constraint to structural problem.
Across more than twenty-five years around B2B businesses and SMEs, I kept seeing capable companies encounter the same barriers. They could make, serve and deliver, but struggled to become visible in the right markets, establish trust at a distance and build every specialist capability growth demanded.
Technology made tools more accessible, yet the business owner was still expected to connect the information, interpret the opportunity and decide what to do next. The gap was not another directory. It was the infrastructure around the business.
Capability
Useful intelligence
Making forms of research, planning and execution available without requiring enterprise-sized teams.
Trust
Credibility made visible
Helping a buyer understand a business and evaluate confidence before distance turns uncertainty into rejection.
Access
Opportunity with direction
Helping capable businesses identify relevant markets and act on opportunity with better context.
Pepagora is not the end of the idea.
It is one way I am working on the wider question: how can technology, trust infrastructure and AI give SMEs capabilities that were historically available mainly to large enterprises?
